Search SAP transports by short text

Have you ever struggled to locate a transport request, where you are unsure of the objects inside the transport, in addition you are unsure even of the user ID’s used to create the request, but fortunately as you/your team follows a strict description naming convention you have a rough idea on the description used in the short text.

You could use SE16 on table E07T to search on the short text, or use SE03, then select “Find Requests”. In the next screen select (Control+F1) which will expand the selection parameters, where you can select using wild-cards in the short text.

    Hi Glynn,

Using tables E071 and E070V are more familiar for me. E071 to search requests by object names and E070V to look for the timestamp of a request. These two are useful to determine what and when a change was moved.

    P.S. This is a great website! :)
