ATP – Storage Location Check
Can I deactivate the storage location check for checking rule ‘A’ (sales order) but leave checking rule ‘B’ (delivery) activated when I customize the scope of check, so that sales orders are not checked at storage location level?
No, you are deliberately prevented from maintaining the “No stor loc inspectn” field in the Availability Check Control (OVZ9) for the ‘A’ and ‘B’ check rules in the same checking group. This was done to prevent problems arising with the ATP check, which would occur if you vary the specification of this field in sales orders and deliveries.
If the “No stor loc inspectn” field is set (or deleted) in the ‘A’ and ‘B’ check rules of the same checking group, then it is also automatically set (deleted) in each of the other check rules.
If you do not want to check sales orders at storage location level, activate the storage location check, but do not enter a storage location into the sales order. This will ensure that the check is carried out at plant level.
