SAP Tips – Information Structure Updates

If you wish to see which information structures have been updated  from Sales or Transportation you can use the following transaction codes:

MCVR                 SIS: update diagnosis – order
MCVS                 TIS: Update Diagnosis: Transportatn
MCVT                 SIS: update diagnosis – delivery
MCVV                 SIS: update diagnosis – billing doc.

Or if you wish to write to a update log for a user and call the log you can do the following:

  1. Set User Parameter MCL with value = X in transaction code SU3.
  2. Then run the transaction which you expect the update to happen.
  3. Then run the update Log analysis with transaction MC30.

Hi Sumo,nnMCVR and MCVS are brilliant, in that they show the LIS/SIS structures updated with the status update when the document you are referencing to in the transaction was last updated. nnFor example use MCVR with a sales document and if LIS/SIS is active for your documents for that transaction number you will see the info structures updated. Such as S001 (Customer). nnYou can then branch into the details of the update, seeing all the key values and characteristics.
